Since our brainstorm in September we have been busy with further developing the concepts. We think the concepts we thought of are too complex to make at this time. Therefore, we are now looking into a more simple design, starting from the propulsion system instead of the hull. We are doing this because, as Maritime Engineering students, we are more trained in hull design than in the mechanics of propulsion.
Besides that, preperations are made for the International Waterbike Regatta. It will take place in Istanbul, yet a definitive time has to be announced. In order to achieve a good result, we intend on training with the MacBath more often. Also we wish to apply minor improvements to the MacBath, that will most likely start after the spring break.
